As a specialist in Neuromuscular Therapy, this form of deep tissue bodywork can help with a variety of issues such as neck/head/headache issues, shoulder/arm issues, i.e Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, tennis elbow, hip pain i.e. sciatica, back pain at the waist or lower, knee pain, legs and feet discomfort. It can also be very effective for pre and post-op surgeries involving back, joint replacement and neck pain.
You can count on Julie for whole body or segment therapy which will also include a
postural analysis.
For effective therapy, a minimum of two sessions are required. A session lasts 90 minutes and will include work with the area that the pain is centered at and then using the method of postural analysis working with the structural reasons for the pain.
If you have been in physical therapy and finding some relief, but want to enhance your treatments, deep tissue massage will provide additional comfort.
Previous to a scheduled elective surgery, massage can provide a measured amount of relief.
After your elective surgery, with medical or doctor approval, Julie can provide needed soft tissue rehabilitation of surgical and surrounding areas i.e. scar tissue manipulation. Post-operative scar tissue rehabilitation is essential.
